That's actually my favorite Simon and Garfunkel song too. Cheers.

Same story i grew up with with my parents listening to Simon & Garfunkle and fell i love with them at an early age and they have been one of my favourites ever since. Beautiful songs and amazing harmonies. Wednesday morning 3am and The Boxer are two of my favorite songs. Has anyone listened to 'riot on an empy street' by Kings of Convinience very similar harmonies and sound style to Simon & Garfunkle.

Unfortunately my parents were never heavily into Simon & Garfunkel, but i've discovered them for myself over the years and Bookends is in my top 10 albums of the 1960's; thats for certain.

I thought that was great.

^^^ Yeah, you gotta love the guy on the bells the best!

But seriously, here are some videos, old and new, of some of the best S&G songs in my opinion:
Old S&G:

I think "America" and "The Boxer" might be tied for my all-time favorites, though. Here they are singing "America" at the onset of their reunion tour:
America on DL

And of course, there is "Bridge Over Troubled Water," which Simon wrote and Garfunkel sang--a cause of tension around the release of their last album by same name. Here's young A.G. singing it-what an incredible voice--(hope non-US viewers can get video on daily motion--there's not a good You Tube version:

Dailymotion - Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge over troubled Water - une vidéo Musique

During reunion, both S and G sang BOTW, but I think it is cool that Simon moves to the background at the end. It is just my opinion, of course, but if you are not moved by the end of this, you are just plain not human:

Dailymotion - Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water - a People & Family video

Too depressed by all the seriousness? Then, try 59th Bridge Song. One of the best things about reunion concerts is the instrumentation that they added. Check out the 2 cool background instruments:

:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown: They are the masters!

This song is GORGEOUS. I get chills every time I hear it. Art Garfunkel is such an expressive singer, he deserves more props.

Growing up, Scarborough Fair was one of my favorite songs.

Here my two cents...As a child of the 60's my father had me listen to a lot of their music. Bookends is a magnificent album with America being my favorite song. Thankfully I was able to see them during their Old Friends Tour back in 2003/2004. I'm also a big fan of Paul's solo career especially with his experimenting with world music. Though I haven't go into Art's solo career yet.

Couldn't find a video of the concert I went to but this was one of the stops on their tour.

I only have the Concert In Central Park CD, but man...
Amazing, simply amazing. The Boxer, Mrs. Robinson, Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Sounds Of Silence, Scarborough Fair...Great music w/ great lyrics.
