She is actually more a pop star in my opinion as most of mainstream country has gone that way. Canned emotionless, twangy ****. Although Indie Country, Alt country, has some bomb ass **** though. Bomb.

yeah, most country and punk that gets any attention these days isn't country or punk, it's just pop music done in those styles, and sometimes it's just straight commercial pop crap. Nothing wrong w/pop music as long as it ain't afraid to be just what it is. When they (pop stars) start wanting credibility in other genres i say no way.
