I'd just like to revive this thread a little if I may, because Cirque du Soleil recently released the soundtrack to "Amaluna," the latest show. I'm not particularly thrilled with the first few songs from the album, but I'm still listening.

The only shows I'm really familiar with are Alegria (which I saw live and have loved the soundtrack for years) and Varekai.

If you're interested, I suggest "Patzivota" and "Gitans" from Varekai. Awesome tracks.

I'd like to download a couple more of the soundtracks, perhaps to shows like La Nouba, Ovo, or Zoomanity, but if anyone has any recommendations I will be so delighted!

Edit: Can I also suggest it be moved to the World Music or Soundtracks section of MB? It doesn't really fit in electronica...
I really like their shows, but didn't realise they made music! I will check it out and will move the thread to World Music for you.

Thank you Vanilla!

Here are some songs from Cirque that I loooove:

This is in Spanish and English.

That's an invented language.

This is from the Cirque's first show, Alegria. Also an invested language Very fun and uplifting song, really.

Enjoy!

Sigur Ros do this. Are you familiar with them?
Hell yes, I love Sigur Ros. Not into their latest album, though.

I like those tracks. I'm on Wikipedia and are these guys a band or what? Their "discography" looks more like a list of plays.

I meant to say single, I don't like their latest single. The album has not been leaked and I do not have it.

Sigur Ros is really similar to Cirque du Soleil music so no worries.
