I've heard the name - but don't know anything about them - any pointers in the right direction?

What the fuck Moley? What the fuck.
edit for lack of spammage This is really cheesy. The vocals are bleh are they instrumental is even blehier. There's no appeal of catchiness or great musicianship.

Ok if no-ones going to elaborate then there's no point, i think they're alright...i'm willing to accept that other people might differ in opinion, but rather than dismisively ruin the thread give me some reasons as to why...please..

I’ve been a fan of (*Blackmore’s Night) for some time; I was going to start a thread for them actually, but I wasn’t sure if starting a new one due to misspelling and lack of punctuation in this thread’s title was good enough a reason.
Big fan for many reasons, some emotional (i.e. reminds me of cool autumn days back home), and their music has a tendency to lift my spirits or inspire me. So in that sense, I applaud them. I definitely give them credit for infusing a pop sensibility into neo-medieval/Celtic music; a style of music most find flat out boring, and adding strong hooks and memorable melodies. Some songs that originally got me into the group. You either 'get it' or you don't, as with a lot of music such as this; that most people find cheesy.
