...I had the vinyl of Any Day Now...when it got to cd it was Baez sings Dylan...I wore that album out...I Love Joan Baez singing any Dylan songs...

this song wasn't on it...but one of my favourites...Forever Young by Joan Baez...

I`m not really a fan of Dylan covers. A lot of the ones I`ve heard never seem to struggle out from under the giant shadow cast by Dylan`s own originals: IMO most of his songs are so permeated with his personality that it`s difficult for another artist`s interpretation to take.

So the cover versions I like are generally of Dylan`s less epic songs, where he has left a bit of room for someone else to add something to the song. Most of the ones I`m thinking of are on Il Duce`s list :
