I enjoy a lot of the modern country music that is out there. My favorites are Toby Keith, Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, John Michael Montgomery, Montgomery Gentry, Alabama, Confederate Railroad, etc...

I love the old stuff too. Hank Rules! Johnny was THE MAN! Willie is freaking great!

I'm assuming everyone knows it's only my opinion I'm stating. Everytime you say a band is good, I could argue and say there's no way of proving that, I just forget to put the IMO in sometimes, but it's probably safe to say everyone is stating their opinion in these posts.

Ok this is way out of control but I agree with oojay, most genres suck these days on a large scale because money > honestly/talent/artistry. sam Phillips may have been a capitilist money-grubber, but he knew **** when he saw it.

Most of the older is often times more authentic, least thats how we see it since all the crap's been weeded out.

I understand the IMO..I get it..but I was diplomatically saying that your opinion of those two songs being the greatest..and one isnt even rock country was...a little off.

You can post in threads you know nothing about, you just have to know what one of the posts was about and respond to it
