I have had Transfiguration Of Vincent for a while now but only played it once. I really should give it another listen.

Time is a great album. My second favorite from him.Personally,i think that Post-War is his best. It's the one i always return to anyway. If any of you haven't heard it, i can upload it in AIFF(i don't do compression).Just tell me where. |

M. Ward Album Suggestions
Pretty much anything he's done will entertain you if you liked "Hold Time". Try "Post War", "Transfiguration of Vincent", or "Transistor Radio". "Transistor" has a lot of M. Ward's sweet little love songs, and at one point in the album he slips into a Jerry Lee Lewis-type persoona in a song called "Big Boat". "Post War" is similar, but the accompaniment is more stripped down and basic--not so much synth or piano--a very guitar oriented album. "Transfiguration" is kind of a composite of the two, though I'm not sure of the respective release dates.
hope that helps. |
