Just interested to know if you lot would be interested in a compilation of Random Kiwi Bands...

Thought I would throw some into a Zip file and upload it...if you guys are interested at all...

If not, I really don't care...Just a thought...Let you experience some Music From this little part of the world...

I'll upload a Flying Nun Compilation cd called Pink Flying Saucers Over the Southern Alps once I rip it from cd, it's probably not as good as a starter and i'll follow that up with a playlist of some of my Nun favourites later, along with some of the more well known classics and maybe a few rarer songs.

I have to say we had quite a briliant lot of indie-pop bands.

I downloaded that stuff you linked to the other day.
A lot of it is classic New Zealand roots.

Put together by an American as well.

Recommended to others.

when i bought a rock sound mag like last year there was some kiwi rock cd with it and to be fair i just assumed it'd be crap but i gave it a listen and it was awesome, some of the bands on there have become my favorite bands, and fair enough some where piss poor, but most were awesome. :)

i forgot to comment , that compilation you made spinning, was terrible....a lot of poppy shit on there...i was expecting more alternative music....sorry...

yeah, i preffer indie pop to comercial pop....you also added a lot of r'n'b ( didn't know they made that down under ) and some electro...so i was a bit...wtf??

Lol. I just went through my Music folder and put in whatever I came across...I do have a lot more, but the file was big enough.

Compilation of the first two EPs from the 3Ds, Fish Tales and Swarthy Songs For Swabs. Anyone interested in Flying Nun music from back in the day check this out. Probably a top three Nun band for me.
