You kids need to remember that Johnny's SUN RECORDS years were more Rockabilly, than Country. And Rockabilly was the early roots of Rock and Roll. Yeah, he did some Country stuff. His later years were genuine, unadulterated AMERICANA. That's the only way to describe it. If you can call his cover of Nine Inch Nails' HURT Country, well... you ain't been listening to your Country radio...
