Irish Bands I'd recommend...

The Pogues
Christy Moore
The Exiles
The Wakes
The Dubliners

Not sure if they're still around, but The Coors were pretty good for a while there.

When I think of Irish bands I instantely think of U2. While theyre an old bunch of ****ers now, their original old stuff is really quite good. The Joshua Tree and such.

... and probably the only Irish band you've ever heard. Seriously people there's more to Ireland's musical output than U2. Try listening to some A House for example.
