Bruuuuuuce

Alright so I tried to find a bruce Springsteen thread and there wasn't one, and he could go anywhere, but he's here because I just downloaded his cover of "this land is your land" off of Live 75-85.

Lots of musicians try to represent the down trodden, but man, you can feel it in this guys voice.

Post what you'd like here, but try this song.

I love him. Well actually my dad loves him and I just happened to follow suit.
We have a couple of his albums but Human Touch is pulled out most frequently. I do enjoy his music and I enjoy his voice more so.

57 Channels is a wicked song, and I'll be sure to download the above song too.

Devils and Dust is the best thing he has put out since Born in the USA. I prefer Steve Earle over Bruce however

TheBig3 03-28-2006 05:55 PM

Yeah but you like Country alot don't you? I won't take anything away from Steve Earl though...that last disc he put out was on GD fire.

I love The Boss...My favourite track is probably "Dancing In The Dark" :D

he's a good singer.. really had it going for him in the 80's and 90's but still he didn't pull me in.. but i do dig a few of his songs.. and well he has one of the nice's asses i've ever seen in a pare of jeans :loves:

Best concert I have ever been to.

Spirits in the night is such a classic song. I love the boss

TheBig3 03-30-2009 09:03 PM

the horn sections he has playing on Live in Dublin are friggen incredible. that might have been one of his best albums.

I wouldn't say I love the guy, but I do dig a lot of his music. Nebraska is classic lo-fi folk (great music for a sober night) and Born To Run is sublime as well. As for his 80s stuff, I don't like it all, but Dancing In the Dark and Brilliant Disguise are both great pop songs.

The simple fact that the man's live shows are notorious for being upwards of 3 hours long is enough to merit my respect, but ensure I never go to one of his gigs lol.
