Train

So I've always thought that the Counting Crows were folk rock, and Train was a bad I've always likened to the Crows, but through folk glasses it doesn't seem that they fit, or can be compared. Train, for the majority seems to be alligned closer to soft rock than folk here.

It's one of those things that is "I know it when I see it."

Whats your opinion? I think they have some tracks that can carry them into folk "Meet Virginia" for example, but I don't know nearly anything from there three albums, so lets discuss, and if people cite examples of songs that make a case for their folk-hood we cann all go check them out and decide.

soft rock, pop rock.. they don't have enough folkish sounding songs.. nor are the songs folkish enough to be considered folk in my eyes.. but there a half alright band.. but i dunno there to same sounding.. if that makes sense

While stream of conciousness can be fun, it's nice once and awhile to actually compose a sentence first.
