^ Good one, Safar! I have absolutely no idea. Something tells me that Bob was probably saying something scornful about quiz-takers though.

No worries. I had to ask google for my joke.
The song is "If You Gotta Go, Go Now".
....

"It ain't that I'm questioning you
To take part in any kinda quiz
It's just that I haven't got no watch
An' you keep asking me what time it is"
....

Beside the four or five records I bought in the past, and a few more songs, I don`t know much of the rest of Dylan`s work.

That's interesting. I haven't played that song in years. Actually I always think of it as a Manfred Mann song, because they had quite a hit with it :-

(Fun fact: back in the sixties, BD was asked about whose cover versions of his songs he preferred. There was already a mighty long list of contenders from both sides of the Atlantic, but his choice was Manfred Mann.)

Happy Birthday, Bob.

[Mods, accidentally poste this in the "Talkin' Bob Dylan" thread. Please disregard.]

Is it true that Bob Dylan stole 'house of rising sun' version from Dave Van Ronk?
