Love love love. (No pun intended.)
I've listened to All Hail West Texas a thousand times and it still blows me away every time. Most of the other albums are excellent as well (Full Force Galesburg lags a little, but it's got some good ones on it). A great live show, as well, that I've had the pleasure of seeing a few times.

i adore the mountain goats. i have almost all their albums on vinyl too.
i got started on them after watching a season of moral oral... and at the end of the show they played 'no children' from the Tallahassee album. |

Yeah I got into them from that show too, I heard Love Love Love and got The Sunset Tree but it wasn't until I got All Hail West Texas that I really got into them. That being said I prefer their lo fi sound to their studio produced sound.
