Fellow fans of Dallas Green will probably warm to this up & coming new artist with his haunting vocals & harmonies. Gid Sedgwick is newly discovered from the suburbs of London, UK.
Whilst it appears he generally writes most of his own music & guitar pieces - there's no doubt there's a strong influence from the likes of City & Colour, Simon & Garfunkle etc. Put listn.to/GSedgwick into your browser & see what you think... I LOVE City and Colour. Dallas Green is playing at the Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island along with Blind Pilot and Iron and Wine. I am absolutely dying to go. If you haven't yet heard Blind Pilot, do yourself a favor and look them up RIGHT NOW. You won't be disappointed.

I've been getting Natural Disaster stuck in my head constantly. I can't tell if it's the powerful lyrics or the fact that the song is extremely catchy. All I know is, it's brilliant, but that's obvious coming from a brilliant album.
![]() I also want to point out that I absolutely love the ink work that Dallas has gotten done. It fits his structure and music very well. I'm posting this picture, because what's better than Dallas Green holding a kitty? Nothin' ![]() |
