Martha Argerich is a controversial musician for some, frequently accused of taking liberties with Bach and others. My view is Bach survives intact from a large range of approaches as do other great composers. I’ve often been puzzled to find her live performances frequently better than her studio recordings.
Thanks for posting that, it’s one I hadn’t stumbled across before.

I find the section just after 1.02 dead in the water. Too slow and lacking expression. Maybe this is a recording studio version?
