Default Your favorite opera singer

Hey there !

What is your favorite opera singer (living or dead) ? Why ?
I know it's a hard choice... There are so many great singers !

Personally, I love Elina Garanca. I adore her voice and the way she uses it. She has a powerful, warm and rich voice and a perfect command of her instrument. I think she is a great actress. And besides she is so classy ! I really enjoyed when I watched Carmen (the film version...not in real) with Roberto Alagna and Elina Garanca !!!

I'm sorry if I made grammar mistakes english is not my mother tongue but I'm interested in your opinion !

Hard choice indeed. I'll go with Vladimir Miller, since I'm a lover of basso profondo.

Love him ever since I heard him sing Pergolesi's Stabat Mater.

Ok, I'm biased because I'm Italian, but I truly believe that Franco Corelli was one of the best tenors in the world. Listen to even his "Nessun Dorma" and tell me what you think.
Although I'm Italian, no, I do not like Pavarotti, although it was very famous in the world
Just my opinion, obviously
