Beethoven: Symphony No.9 is about as stirring as you can get. Awesome music.

You can try Cimarosa's keyboard sonatas, or those of Soler and Scarlatti. They're usually very lively.

You're on the right track. Classical [aka dat classico s**t] is only good for background wallpaper sound for more important activities. Here's some of the best classico:
