I think this is one of the most emotional and beautiful classical pieces overall. Good pick (though the whole Art of Fugue can be extremely intense and emotional if performed by the right players).

Yes!! Also, there's a novel thing: Mr. Davitt Moroney's take on how, in his perspective, the piece might've ended. It's on his 1985 harpsichord recording for Harmonia Mundi [J.S. Bach: Die Kunst der Fuge, BWV 1080]. The recording itself & his playing are exquisite, though.
