I have been teaching children classical piano for more than 3 years. Recently I have requests from adults who are interested in learning piano. Since I have no experience of teaching adults, just wanna get some advice from all piano teachers out there. Any particular teaching technique you found effective at teaching adults?
Thanks! |

as an adult, when i took piano, despite having a vast knowledge of jazz music theory, the teacher still taught me as if I was a child
the only difference was of course, that she was attracted to me i got to Grade 3, ain't no virtuoso but i can transcribe a lot of guitar stuff to the piano |
