Electric Violin

So, I have an issue...

I LOVE classical music like Mozart, Vivaldi, Beethoven, etc.

I was given an electric violin for Christmas a couple years ago, however it hasn't been played as much as I would like to have played it because the music that I love, and that I love to play just sounds better on the acoustic violin to me.

I've heard that there's music for electric violin? I just haven't been exposed to it much... can someone make a recommedation or two?

i'm not really familiar with electric violinists aside from nigel kennedy but you might want to check this thread for some tips on getting your e-violin to sound a bit better.

I have an electric violin too and I find that often soundtrack music (such as the music from Hero and Lord Of the Rings) sounds really nice on the electric.
