Question Concerto No. 2 in D Major

I'm required to perform only the first movement, but I'm having a little difficult figuring out how to play it. I've listened to recordings and even watched some performances, but does anyone know the most (umm... how would I put it) basic fingering? I pretty much just stare at the page and end up shifting at random spots.

Hi Chaotic!
I just want to ask you, (If you are still active...) what instrument do you play? And Who's Concerto No.2 in D are you asking about?
This goes for any Concerto, listen to all the leading musicians playing this Concerto. Considering you said "I pretty much just stare at the page and end up shifting at random spots." By shifting, I think you're meaning Mozart's Violin Concerto, No.2.
I suggest Googling it, I am sorry. I am not very good at the Violin, so I don't trust me with fingering! Sorry!
