Default Pianist?

Who is your favorite piano composer? For me, I would have to say Chopin. I also love Debussy's way of putting things.

Bach is a genius. Does anyone have any piano recommendations for JS Bach, or anyone else for this matter?

Another point may we discuss: I've noticed piano music gets my attention mainly when we are invoking chord transitions that smoothy position the melody. Therefore the melody will be dependent on the chords. This can be said for orchestra too, but for earlier melodies in such Baroque themes, the melody is most significant and surely the harmony is a melody of its own. This is something I believe JS Bach could master more than anyone, given correspondent circumstances. It had to do with mathematical equations of which Mozart first awed as a composer. It is also Bach which we should thank for Mozart's revelation of musical gratification.

Thoughts?
