Who actually listens? (jazz, pop, rock, cds, vinyl)

I listen to a lot of Romantic Period Classical and I listen to some Neo-Classical, Classical-Classical, and pretty much every classical peace I come upon. Right now I am listening to Mars, The Bringer of War by Gustav Holst.

one of my favs. over the past few years is Johannes Brahms, his stuff is always enjoyable when I'm in a peaceful mood.

I listen to classical just as much as I listen to pop, heavy metal, jazz or anything... except punk... i just can't dig it, no matter how much I try, I wish I could because it's the last piece of the musical puzzle for me... oh well, such is life.

I listen to all kinds of classical, and I like to play it as well.

Baroque is my favorite, though... especially Vivaldi!

The radio in my car is set to the classical station (I haven't changed it in so long, I don't even remember what the FM number is. 99.something, I think.). It's what I listen to when working online, studying, drawing, or if I need music to fall asleep to.

I was raised on a variety of genres, but classical was (and still is) the frontrunner. It's always been a favourite in my family, so I just naturally turn to classical. It's almost like a security blanket, or at least a trip down memory lane.

That was a really long-winded way of saying that yes, I do listen to classical/opera music on a daily basis.

i like it all...but I especially love modern composers...Ligeti, Crumb, Lutoslawski, Thomas Ades, Joseph Schwantner....etc etc

As a music student I study academically all manner of classical music. I personally enjoy Beethovens piano sonatas. I also enjoy symphonies for violin or piano.
