I find it funny that Chula got interested in krautrock as an electronic sub-genre but not as a prog sub-genre.

Well, I haven't really a clue what I'm talking about now, do I?

I long for the days when music was either Rock, Pop, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Country, Heavy Metal, or Gospel.

How many genres are there these days? More than a thousand? Ten thousand?

I'm not actually mocking you, it's just ironic that one of the prog guys here just so happens to be getting into a genre for seemingly an assbackwards reason. If all I knew of krautrock was Kraftwerk then I'd think it was electronica too and I'm sure I did think that at some point. But considering your original intention you should check out Die Mensch Maschine (the German version) as that's probably what you thought you were in for. It's stellar.
