Bandcamp is definitely a good way to go. It might be hard to get an live audience (it is in most underground music) but it really depends on your location. I know Boston, MA and Wilmington, NC both have flourishing noise/experimental scenes but as for you it's beat to look more into it. If you live in a city area there's always going to be a small following, but it's a little iffy around rural areas.
