Default Hans Reichel

Hans Reichel was a german musician and inventor.
He is mostly famous for the daxophone, an instrument where the sound comes from exchangeable wooden blades being bowed. It might be the weirdest sounding instrument ever. His daxophone "operas" are unique and also hilarious. He also played guitars he built himself. He seldom used effects, instead achieving a totally new sound by the ways the instruments were constructed.

Thanks for posting this, grindy. The Daxophone is an extraordinary instrument, from the simplicity of its concept to the strangeness of its sound. An added bonus is that the collection of blades looks like a beautiful abstract sculpture. All very intriguing...
