idk how avant guarde they were but ive been listening to alot of Kas product and i don't see alot of ppl around me digging them.
They don't even have a decent wiki, in fact they have of one of the most vague wiki ive ever seen KaS Product - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia they have a bit of a cult following but it's very small in contrast to how good they actually are. Oh, another sorta avant guarde band i recently found is the Suburban lawns. i had an old friend who made me the weirdest music mix cd ive heard at the time. (this was around 97) it was full of obscure foreign bands that to this day im still tracking down. one of the weirdest song in the cd was 'Janitor' by the Suburban lawns. i just learned this sh*t last year for the longest time i didn't know who the hell made that song.

I am lucky enough to have very openminded people in my friend-circle that I can appreciate experimental music with.
Some of my favorite experimental artists are Valentin Stip Nicolas Jaar SOHN Fever Ray aRia sappHo Howling The Acid James Blake Mount Kimbie |

I have a few friends old enough to be my parents who embrace my taste of weirdness, but they are people who live very far away (in another country), who I rarely get to see. My family.... not a snowball's chance in hell!
