Mater Susperia Vision

How can I express how I feel about Mater Susperia Vision.
The beauty of a track like "A giant snake that eats itself" is equally matched by its sinister undertone. Their videos meld occult based imagery with a sound track of slowed down nineties happy hardcore and acid drenched ambient new age mantras.

Are they trying to deconstruct the cult of old school rave with the occult ? So much goes into what they do. The are an audio delight wrapped in a visual cornucopia.

Is is just me or are Mater Susperia Vision a sound track to a journey into a dis integrating reality, a release of all that binds a human's sense of morality, a slide into self gratification ? Or have i taken too much acid and read into them too much ? Overwhelmed definitely.

Does anyone share my intrigue with this outfit ? If so, what is it that you like about them.

it's in the occultism and the psychedelia that appeals to those who have touched 'the other side' and understands there's this other reality. Particularly their play with anything morphed or altered states of reality. Altering music and visuals, through glitch and fantasy always change stem character of the original and that really appeals to neuronauts or even those who like a little trippiness in their everyday world. I agree with how you feel, there's definitely 'presence' in their work and if you follow through the lineage of witch house or explore its off shoots, you'll fin d avery unified energy field. They are all communicating from a very real space, though unseen. Awesome cult!
