Listener
Well, he started as a hip hop artist but became totally his own beast involving slam poetry over bluesy and acoustic beats. Wondering what y'all think of him cos I dig him in a way I probably shouldn't.

I would've sworn there was already a thread about Listener but if there is, I couldn't find it. Anyway, since they deserve a much bigger response than "coool" I'll add that Listener are pretty fucking great. I don't know if I'd call them 'experimental/avant-garde' but whatever. They seem to have broken out of obscurity with their Wooden Heart album but have made much, much more music. I don't think I've heard all of their stuff but the Return to Struggleville album is played regularly on my devices. This next one is older and crazier And this one is pure hip hop
