Ralph Records
I loved Ralph Records, there was just no way to NOT admire any record label that was so aggressively WEIRD and anti-commercial, not surprising since they were founded by these guys

Eye've been a fan of Ralph records and The Residents (plus Snakefinger and several other Ralph artists) since the 70's, when eye first heard The Residents covering 'Satisfaction' by The Rolling Stones.
It was a sad day when they sent me an email announcing the end of Ralph records. But the music lives on! Just saw The Residents on their WOW (Wonder of Weird) 2013 40th anniversary tour. Needless to say, "they still got it!" Catch 'em if you can. |

Ralph also released the first two albums from one of my favorite Rock In Opposition artists, Art Bears

I respect them for existing much more than I would want to listen to anything on it.

God, I had a million Ralph Records --The Residents, MX-80 Sound, Tuxedo Moon, Chrome. Yello was originally a Ralph Records band. Were the Art Bears also? Can't remember but i seem to remember them as being on Ralph at some point.
