I was going to suggest the Void as well, but I'm sure he was referring to one or other of them. And for want of a better place to ask, are you going to be turning up this friday? |

I love it when an album suddenly starts to make sense to you. I've had Deathconsciousness sitting on my hard drive for about a year now and I was never quite able to take it all in. The first couple of times I listened to it it seemed full of half-baked ideas yet I still felt curious about it.
I just randomly decided to listen to it last weekend. I put on my headphones, made myself comfortable and surprisingly found myself becoming immersed in this epic trip. It's certainly not a happy album; it's dark, brooding and can be quite harsh at times. Yet underneath all that you can pick out some beautiful melodies and lyrics. Categorising this album is a bitch but I can sense that I will see the clearer picture over the next few listens.
