Black Swan
Black Swan - Aeterna Listening to this in an hour or so. Apparently it's "gorgeous drone" so I am looking forward to it. I'll edit this after listening. Buy it here.

So I've sort of made friends with a dude that comes into my shop and buys a lot of our weirder/more eclectic selection of records. Comes in roughly every week or so. We are like minded so we kind of hit it off. We were bullsh*ting about music and I mentioned how I like The Caretaker and he says that he used to be friends with him. I asked how that came to be and he told me he makes music. Tells me he'll bring in two of his records for me to listen to. Next day he comes in and it's The Quiet Divide and In 8 Movements.
Thought that was pretty cool. |

I'm gonna go hand out some Noosefiller tapes to the record store employees that I'm chummy with now.
That is cool though, I remember 8 Movements being pretty good.

I really like this heavy vibe of melancholic abandomness/loneliness. And that last piece is ****ing intense! Can it be played loud enough? I don't think so.. Hot damn. Certainly will look in to some more of his stuff! |
