Live Skull
Very good experimental band that released albums through Homestead and Caroliner throughout the 80s. Their style incorporated Post-Punk, Industrial, Noise Rock and No-Wave influences to create a sound somewhere between early Sonic Youth and Swans, with a little TJ&TJ thrown in too.
Bringing Home the Bait should be anyone's first port of call with these guys, Dusted's great too. Vids: Last edited by Sneer; 12-04-2011 at 07:41 PM. |

I've been a Live Skull fan since the late 80's, and I still listen to them pretty often. I wish Bringing Home the Bait, Cloud One, and Live Don't Get Any On You would be released on CD. I have them on vinyl, and Dusted and Positraction on CD. I actually have their first EP (self-titled) on cassette and I don't even own a cassette player anymore.
