World's End Girlfriend
Sorry if I'm not supposed to post threads about an individual artist, or if a thread for this guy has already been created, but I checked the rules and search button and couldn't find anything.
World's End Girlfriend (ワールズ・エンド・ガールフレンド if you want to be pretentious or are actually Japanese) is an experimental Japanese artist. His music is mostly referred to as Post Rock, but to be honest I think it also has a very electronic and euphoric edge that many Post Rock artists couldn't hope to achieve. To me, he frequently sounds like a mix between Takk... era Sigur Rós and Kid A era Radiohead, with his own uniquely avant-garde edge, which certainly isn't a bad thing. Those are three of his most well-known and accessible songs. Tell me what you think, if you have the time to listen. I personally think he's incredible. |

I really enjoyed it, even though it doesn't have that much power emotionally I would definitely say that for it's musical quality it's decent. His music is all very thought out. I very much imagined an Anime or a Gorillaz music video to this.
