And finally, for the next week: Crispin Hellion Glover - The Big Problem Does Not Equal The Solution. The Solution = LET IT BE.

Crispin Hellion Glover is maybe my favorite person on earth....this album was recorded in 1989 is very odd indeed....part spoken word, part music and all puzzling....literally the album itself presents a riddle....and it is the listeners job to solve it.....original pressings actually came with his phone number printed on the back and he asked listeners to call him when they felt they had solved his riddle
Quote:
"All words and lyrics point to THE BIG PROBLEM. The solution lay within the title; LET IT BE. Crispin Hellion Glover wants to know what you think these nine things all have in common."
from the back of the album

i love this album for so many reasons....and this you all might actually enjoy it also
And a new discussion thread: http://www.musicbanter.com/avant-gar...on-thread.html

I've been very busy these past few days, so there's a little delay with the voting. But, I have another idea. There will be no voting, the next week can serve as a chance to catch up on these past few albums. I will open, though, Crispin Glover thread tomorrow for those of you who want to discuss that.

Don't know about you, but I sadly didn't have the time to catch up with past few albums. However, no reason for the delay again. I updated the poll and you can start voting for the next week's album.

I feel bad because I'm about four behind now and I'm not going to be able to get caught up probably for another 3 weeks or more.

^^Well, there's no time limit, and you don't have to listen to them and comment in order, but whatever suits you. If you need a link to some of those albums I can send you. I only don't have Crispin Glover at the moment.

Anyway, one more week to go and I'll be free as a bird, so this album club will have no more delays. Let's just hope people are still interested. I have to say Skaligojurah (sorry, can't memorize the new name) was the most active and persistent.

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.
