Our choice for this week listening is Keiji Haino - Watashi Dake

Two versions exist, the original (11 tracks) and the re-released one with 13. I have a link to the re-released one if anyone needs it, and anybody who personally wants just the 11 original tracks can just delete off the last two like here:

This link I have does have the songs tagged with English titles though :(

I could only find the one with all the tracks labeled "Untitled." I had no idea that they had names.

Apparently the re-released version comes with Japanese titles which this version has then translated to English.

Talk about defeating the purpose. I'm probably going to at least change all of my titles on iTunes back to the original Japanese ones, or "Untitled #1", "Untitled #2", etc.

Still, excited as Hell for this one. Keiji is a silent hero of mine, somebody whose work I've barely investigated yet have always held in high regard.

he is one of my favorite artists and i have one of his symphonies which is quite an interesting listen.....this just sounds amazing

Crispin Hellion Glover is maybe my favorite person on earth....this album was recorded in 1989 is very odd indeed....part spoken word, part music and all puzzling....literally the album itself presents a riddle....and it is the listeners job to solve it.....original pressings actually came with his phone number printed on the back and he asked listeners to call him when they felt they had solved his riddle

I love this album so much! GREAT recommendation! Crispin Glover is my absolute favorite living actor, and I actually just spent all of last night showing my cousin clips of Crispin Glover and playing his music. :)

the suggestion is celebrating his announcement to start film part 3 of the IT trilogy :)

Not yet - I was going to try to see it at one of his screenings when he comes back around my way. Missed it last time, and was devastated.
