Default Florence and the Machine

Picked up on Florence a couple of months back after a chance hearing on the radio of Rabbit Heart on the Radio, didn't even catch the name at first had to look it up through the DJ's playlist.

Since I've scored the net for anything I can find, which is a surprising a mount, including an early live show in July 07.

Since playing Glastonbury and totally owning it, she's now on a rocket ship...

The album came out on Monday in the UK and has already gone gold

I managed to catch them live at the Oran Mor in Glasgow at the end of May, and I can't wait for the September show in the ABC

Best new band I've heard in ages

Here's some links to the first three vids, a song from the 2007 show, and a another track from the album live:

from the 07 gig, miss-titled on youtube, should be Pearls & Roses

Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think

I saw them supporting Blur at Hyde Park - wasn't really paying much attention - I had dropped a bottle of beer on myself! Damn it. lol
That 'Rabbit Heart' song is a current fave of mine though!

I downloaded their album a week or so ago. I'm impressed. Their music plays real well in music sound stream. They remind me a bit of Los Angeles rockers Rilo Kiley.

I highly recommend the deluxe version of the album for the excellent songs Falling & The Harderst of Hearts

Bit dissapointed there doesn't seem to be any coverage from the proper T in the Park set...
