Ghostland Observatory
Came up in a magazine I was reading recently.
Sorta sounds like Mars Volta + Electric Six + Queen - balls x Peaches. I expected better things but anyway...

this might sound weird
so i checked out the second song last night and found it to be really annoying....today i listened to all three but with out watching the videos....and found all three to actually be pretty good....i think the singer just irks me for some reason but i actually like the music....at first your description made very little sense...esp the "-balls x peaches"...but i can see it now |

I'm a big fan of mathing out band sounds. They just lack that big Queen guitar crunch, but they've got Peaches back beat.

I like them. They represent the city very well: weird.
Sad Sad City is my favorite. Even my 4 & 6 year-old nephews love them. It's an Austin thing.
