Buckethead's reputation

Why has buckethead such a ridicolous amount of people claiming he is a godlike artist? In every youtube video related to him you will find people claiming he is the best, his music is so emotional, and it sometimes can be a little ridicolous in my opinion. Sometimes i feel like there is some hidden prestige gain by listening to his music, kind of like some people like to say the love classical music, or classic "universally socially accepted and respected" rock stuff. I dont know if i got my point right, he's a good guitarist (even if he is not the cleanest out of there), i got mad respect for his INFINITE discography that continues to broaden, enhancing the already big amount of genres he put his lower extremity of the vertebrate leg that is in direct contact with the ground on, but i dont get it. Can you please explain me what you find so amazingly good in his music? Keep in mind that i dont want to offend anybody, i'm just curious and i'm looking to broaden my horizons
