Humanwine
They are a steam-punk/gypsy/cabaret band. They fall under the same category of DeVotchKa, Dresden Dolls, Hannah Fury, etc.
Very talented. The lead singer has a very nice voice though. Her tone and breath support are superb.

HUMANWINE links
The site link is HUMANWINE[dot]org
Form there you will find links to a bunch of other sites they're on. I first got into them in 2005. I have all their albums even secret small release. I have a bunch of shows on video some are posted on YouTube. They just came out with my favorite album of all time in October it's on their site, it's called Mass Exodus. They're a really hard band to categorize. People WANT to lump them in with circus-y bands but when they play a show it's just them, no make up, no costumes no glitzy cabaret schtick, it's just people making music on a stage. The music they make is so vividly storytelling that it's a wonder they haven't made any music videos yet. They run their own label and do everything themselves so they probably haven't had time to make a video yet. Anyway the links are a good start. |

Bump. With a video.
It's their song "wake up" and the video is live, but it's decent quality. And, yes, those are tattoos on her neck.
