Magik Markers
Listening to their album Boss now and it's an absolute noisy-feedback delight, holding a flame to early Sonic Youth. What makes up the album for me though is the quirky little moments like the piano driven songs. The singer seems like a mentalist as well.
Here's the more laidback Taste I couldn't find a link for Body Rot but my my that song rocks. It's on Last FM. |

I've never been a huge Sonic Youth fan but I love a lot other noise rock. The track you posted was a bit tame but it had a distinct MBV feel to it, sounds like it could be something awesome.
Mind sparing a PM?

On first listen it's a bit of a mixed bag. A couple of tracks are really good but others don't do much for me at all. To be honest I would like a little more abrasive noise on some tracks to juxtapose the gentler moments. Needs another listen.

I think Magik Markers has been an interesting band since day one, and Boss in the context of all their previous releases; makes it more interesting.
If you want to hear a really interesting, amazing LP from them; find For SADA JANE |
