Default Arab On Radar

Right. There has got to be fans here. I've been into them for around a year now and have 5 albums. I have to say Yahweh Or The Highway is my favourite but Soak The Saddle and Queen Hygiene II are both excellent too.

For those who arent familiar, they're a noise band that split up in 2002. Comparison wise... at times they sound like Gang of Four put through an industrial shredder... at other times The Contortions meets the noise-rock of Sonic Youth. They are a very acquired taste indeed.

I like them, there's only so much I can tolerate at once though by 'em. They're nice though

I think they're pretty lack luster and so is The Chinese Stars. Which is a shame because I love noisy bands.

Whatever I listened to was extremely unmemorable. I usually go to a couple different albums with a band as prolific as this and on paper I really should like. I might give it another go since you speak so highly.

I would definately say they arent a particularly consistant band, some of the stuff they've released has been trite, but i would recommend the albums i noted in my opening post. I've got ups if you want them.
