and **** yeah teenage jesus and the jerks is brilliant!! the guy at the record store i go to said he went to a house party and they were playing in the basement. lydia lunch was wearing nothing but seran (spelling?) wrap. now i wish i had that kind of story to tell about myself. |

Yeah, the smell scene is pretty word, HEALTH, No Age, Abe Vigoda, The Mae Shi, all really great contemporary noise, and they all have their own original take on it. Not one of those scenes where every band copies one another, which is rare.

I've only listened to one band in that genre and it's No Age. I guess I should look up Swans and what not as I do like no wave.
