for some reason their songs sound really familiar to me.
i guess it's pretty much electronic noise/drone/ambient music
married to slowly evolving post-rocky melodies.
it's really really great stoned. and perfect background music
for the desensitized.

I should really check this out. I've been hearing about them alot lately.

I heard the album a few weeks ago.

If you like the sound of an angry wasp buzzing in your ear for half an hour then this is the album for you.

:laughing: Yeah, I've seen this getting good reviews but the "noise/drone/ambient" label pretty much made me run screaming for the hills...

I usually have a pretty high tolerance when it comes to this kind of stuff but to be honest by the 4th or 5th song it just became like an irritating background noise.

i don't find it irritating at all, very relaxing really.

I've tried to get into them a few times; but it sounds like a bland and uninspiring dirge. Not much style or substance either, maybe it would work better high.

will check this out.

there's nothing post-rock about this band

taht aside, they are good

the song structures are very post-rock i would say
