Vision Creation New Sun is a pretty great album though I think I'd have to say Pop Tatari is my favorite album by them at the moment. That was their third so I guess that was pretty early, it is pretty nuts.

Ok, whatever gets me the music .

I'm not afraid of not liking it, I'm willing to give anything a try. Plus I listen to alot of "unlistenable" music.

Isn't it just Boredoms? Awesome band... they remind me alot of Melt-Banana.

anybody else hear of Yamatsuka Eye's band Hanatarash before he was in Boredoms? it's pretty fucking abrasive, completely flips the traditional Boredoms song structure on its side. still worth checking out though.

Boredoms for me transcend the Noise Rock genre, really amazing band. I'm genuinely shocked at the few people here that i've mentioned the band too who didn't like them, especially when they like things like Sonic Youth as Boredoms to me are aheavier, more interesting version of all the classic American Noise Rock bands(although I enjoy them too).
Anyone here seen them live? I can't imagine how amazing they would be.

I saw OOIOO in Tokyo. The show also featured Melt Banana. It was a short trip to Tokyo and the night before I saw an experimental artist that I think was either Merzbow or Hanatarash. I know it's insane not to know for sure but confusion has always played too big a role in my life. I also saw Mr. Eye perform as a DJ around the time of DJ Pica Pica Pica (late 90's) in Nagoya. Even though Eye was just him and two turntables and his vinyl it was by far the most shredding of all these shows. I mean, it was absolute noise violence. Getting back to my apartment after that show (ending at like 6 AM- and I had been there since about 8 PM not realizing that everyone arrives at like 1) was one of the most exhausting experiences of my life.
