The new album is fantastic. To Be Kind doesn't disappoint with the long tracks, especially the track "Bring the Sun / Toussainte L'Overture" which clocks in at 34 minutes long. I would say that this album is better than The Seer, which I liked as well.

I know it's probably not as great as it sounds and everything. But damn it sounds cool to work at a bookshop and sip good coffee all day.

so when i bought the $150 pre oprder of this album 6 months ago i promised myself i would wait till the package arrived 3-5 days before the street release

this i came here and read the most recent posts and almost immediately got jealous and maybe even resentful

this album is nothing short of everything i expected and maybe even more....i'm especially happy to hear "Kirsten Supine"....Gira's ode to Kirsten Dunst's character in Melancholia....which on the fund raiser release Not Here/Not Now is very stripped down and actually sung and recorded in the rain....both are very powerful songs....but the one on To Be Kind is just mind blowing

as i thought when i heard about the release of this....it is and will be my favorite album of 2014

seeing them in September is going to be divine

also

you can really hear bill reiflin in this album....which is nothing short of fucking awesome!

This new album... dude.
I think I'll need to get some weed for when I see them next month. This is some real stoner stuff, no? Much more so than other recent albums.
