Hmm, just played for the first time. Not sure either. I probably won't play it again till I hear the whole album.

it doesn't do much for me. the heavy use of vocals and overall song structure makes it seem like it's a different band.

Sounds like an indie pop band that's a little bit experimental. Fun to listen to, I'll give it that.

I'm giving Gloss Drop a listen right now
I thought the album was going to be god awful indie bull**** but currently it's impressing me. At times it even reminds me of their first EPs.
I'll review it in full later.

Ok, I'm excited for the new album. My expectations were lowered for a bit after listening to Ice Cream, but I'm hoping that the rest of the album is better than that.

Without Tyondai it's quite a different band but very enjoyable nevertheless. Watch their recent live videos - they definitely should make you like Gloss Drop, the same grade of intensity!
