everything about them is horribly pretentious tbh... their songs, their releases... constellation records and it's roster. They get away with it though.

Why?
Because people don`t 'get it'? I`ve listened to them on a number of occasions with an open mind ,and I just find them extremely boring. If the message you want to get over with your music is to make overlong directionless songs to show how anti mainstream you are then I have to admit they did a damn good job of it. Skinny Fists had it`s moments i`ll give them that but they`re few & far between and there`s nothing on there that makes me think they`re one of the best bands ever. And that was a high point anyway , the stuff they did after that was just the same stuff over again with nothing new.

I have TINY FISTS and I really like it, HOWEVER I would'nt say that their music is particulary experimental. It is not mainstream but it takes a lot of cues from film/T.V soundtracks.
