Yeah I'm always really anxious when bands like this release new albums, especially when they already have an incredible back catalogue, it's usually always going to be a disappointment. But Valtari has certainly impressed me and it's great that they have progressed their sound instead of threading back over old ground .

I haven't listened to Takk in ages but I must give it a spin soon. I used to be underwhelmed by the first four tracks on it and it used to kick in then with 'Saeglopur', but the first four tracks are pretty cool when you listen to them over and over again especially 'Hoppípolla'.
